1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Loyalty Card by Maxisite handles information used to provide the public website, merchant workspace, customer loyalty cards, account recovery, subscriptions and related operational features.

2. Information we process

Merchant accounts: name, business name, email address, password hash, account status, language and business timezone.

Customer access: browser/session identifiers, loyalty memberships, progress and reward records, and an email address only when a customer chooses to protect or recover access to their cards.

Billing: plan, subscription status and PayPal subscription references needed to determine product access. Payment credentials are handled by PayPal and are not stored by Loyalty Card.

Operational records: security, audit, redemption, stamp and lifecycle records needed to operate and protect the service.

Website analytics: when analytics is enabled, we may collect limited usage data such as page paths, sessions and acquisition information. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, customer IDs, card data, URL query strings or access tokens to analytics services.

3. Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, operate loyalty programs, recover customer access, process and synchronize subscription status, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, maintain audit history, improve product performance and meet applicable legal or security obligations.

4. Service providers

We use service providers where necessary to operate Loyalty Card. This can include hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery services, PayPal for recurring billing, and analytics/search tools when enabled. Providers receive only the information needed for their role and remain subject to their own privacy terms.

5. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain billing and audit records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or satisfy legal requirements. We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of personal information. Requests can be made through the support contact provided in your Loyalty Card account or commercial communication. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.

7. International processing

Loyalty Card is intended for international use. Information may be processed in countries different from your own when our infrastructure or service providers operate there.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product, providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its updated date.
